The Sinclair KEYON SIH-18BIK + SOH-18BIK split air conditioning system is a single-split air conditioning set for rooms where fixed air conditioning with an indoor and outdoor unit is desired. The set combines a cooling capacity of 4.6 kW with a verified heating function, making it suitable for seasonal cooling operation as well as supplementary heating operation in suitable areas of application.
The KEYON series is designed with a functional, white wall-mounted unit aesthetic and comes with features such as Wi-Fi control, I FEEL temperature management, 8 °C heating function, and Cold Plasma ionizer. The specific design of the system must always match the room situation, installation position, and professional cooling/air conditioning load assessment.
Technology & Equipment
The air conditioning set consists of the indoor unit SIH-18BIK and the outdoor unit SOH-18BIK. In cooling mode, the system achieves a power output of 4.6 kW, and in heating mode 5.2 kW. For seasonal efficiency, SEER 6.4 and SCOP 4.0 are verified for the average heating season.
The system operates with the refrigerant R32. The indoor unit offers multiple air volume levels, dehumidification operation, Wi-Fi control via the EWPE Smart App, and comfort functions of the KEYON series. The indoor and outdoor units are considered technically separately, as sound values, air performance, dimensions, and weights differ per component.
Everyday Benefits
For daily operation, the Sinclair KEYON split air conditioning system offers a combination of cooling, heating, dehumidifying, and air circulation. The I FEEL function is based on the temperature measurement of the remote control and can thereby support more comfortable room temperature management.
Wi-Fi control enables operation via the EWPE Smart App, provided the device is connected accordingly. The 8 °C heating function can be used for temperature maintenance in heating mode, while the X-FAN function can dry the indoor unit after cooling or dehumidification operation.
System Integration & Compatibility
The system is designed as a split air conditioning unit and consists of a matching indoor and outdoor unit of the same KEYON performance variant. The indoor unit SIH-18BIK is assigned to the outdoor unit SOH-18BIK.
For installation, the specified refrigerant line data must be observed: minimum line length 3 m, maximum line length 25 m, and maximum height difference 10 m. The system is pre-charged with refrigerant for 5 m of line length; beyond that, an additional amount of refrigerant is required according to the manufacturer's specifications.

Installation
Installation of a split air conditioning system may only be carried out by qualified specialist personnel or a certified refrigeration company. This applies in particular to refrigerant work, line installation, leak testing, evacuation, electrical connection, and commissioning.
For this set, a minimum pipe length of 3 m, a maximum pipe length of 25 m, and a maximum height difference of 10 m are specified. The system is pre-charged for a 5 m pipe length; for longer lines, the additional refrigerant quantity must be taken into account according to the manufacturer's specifications.
Notes
The system contains fluorinated greenhouse gases and operates with flammable refrigerant R32. Maintenance, servicing, and disposal related to refrigerant must be carried out by qualified personnel.
Repairs or modifications to the air conditioning system must not be carried out independently. In the event of unusual operating noises, burning smell, repeated tripping of the fuse, damaged connection cable, or refrigerant leakage, the device must be switched off and an authorized customer service must be contacted.
