Haas+Sohn Kuopio II Wood-Burning Stove – 8.8 kW, space-saving corner solution
Compact corner solution with powerful heating performance
The Kuopio II from Haas+Sohn delivers 8.8 kW of heating output and is particularly suitable for corner installation, as it can be installed with a wall clearance of just 2 cm. Thanks to its compact design, it provides efficient warmth even in smaller living spaces without taking up much room.
Its design enables safe and long-term heating of living areas; thanks to its construction, heat output remains even and comfortable.
Materials and high-quality design
The body is made of anthracite-colored steel, while the sides and top plate are optionally finished with sandstone (Woodstone) or gray quartzite. This combination of metal and natural stone gives the stove an elegant look and adapts to various interior styles.
Choose the variant that best suits your ambiance during the ordering process to achieve a harmonious integration into your living space.
Practical features for everyday use and comfort
Despite its compact external dimensions, the Kuopio II features a warming compartment for food and drinks as well as a practical shelf for orderly firewood storage. The open wood compartment under the firebox ensures quick access to fuel.
The curved firebox door with a large viewing window effectively showcases the dancing flames and creates a particularly cozy atmosphere.
Technology for clean and efficient combustion
The automatic air control optimizes combustion independently, increases efficiency, and reduces fuel consumption. An outside air connection ensures that combustion air predominantly comes from outside, which protects the indoor air and stabilizes operation.
Easy handling and cleaning
The integrated shaking grate makes it easier to move ash and combustion residues into the ash pan, so cleaning is quick and tidy. The air-cooled door handle minimizes the risk of burns when opening and refueling.
The Kuopio II is designed for continuous operation over 24 hours; however, since wood as a fuel requires embers to be replenished more quickly than coal, regular refueling is necessary.
Safety, approvals, and environmental requirements
The fireplace stove meets important standards and legal requirements: DIN EN 13240, BImSchV Stage II, the EcoDesign Directive 2022, as well as the national regulations 15a B‑VG for Austria and VKF for Switzerland. These approvals stand for tested safety and low-emission combustion.
