Product Overview & Application

The Attack SLX 25 Lambda Touch wood gasification boiler is a water-bearing log wood boiler with a nominal output of 25 kW, designed for single-family homes, vacation homes, small businesses, and similar buildings. It operates on the wood gasification principle and is intended for use with dry log wood in professionally planned heating systems that include a suitable buffer tank solution.

Technology & Features

The boiler body is made of 6 mm thick steel plate and utilizes a fireclay nozzle, an induced draft fan, and a tube heat exchanger with turbulators. In the Lambda Touch version, combustion is regulated via a lambda sensor, boiler and flue gas temperature, and automatic control of primary and secondary air; additionally, the turbulators are cleaned by a motor. The touch display supports operation and clearly shows the most important operating values.

Everyday Benefits

In daily operation, the lambda control supports controlled combustion and consistent power output. The generously sized fuel chamber, the design optimized for long burn times, and the automatic cleaning of the turbulators reduce the effort required for operation. When the upper door is opened, the fan in the Lambda Touch version switches to full power to ensure flue gases are effectively drawn into the chimney.

System Integration & Compatibility

The Attack SLX 25 Lambda Touch is intended for hot water heating systems with a buffer tank. The manufacturer recommends a buffer volume of 2,000 liters for this model; additionally, a return temperature boost must be planned to prevent the return temperature from falling below 65 °C. According to the manufacturer's documentation, the boiler can be effectively integrated into systems with buffer tanks, radiator or underfloor heating circuits, as well as in combination with a domestic hot water tank and other heat sources.

Installation

Installation must be carried out by a qualified specialist company and adapted to applicable standards and the manufacturer's documentation. For safe operation, a sufficiently ventilated boiler room, a professionally sized chimney, a return temperature boost, a safety valve, a cooling circuit for overheat protection, and an electrical supply of 230 V / 50 Hz must be provided. The manufacturer specifies, among other things, clear maneuvering space in front of and around the boiler, as well as a combustion air cross-section of at least 10 cm² per kW of boiler output.

Notes

Use only dry log wood with a moisture content of 12 to 20%. The boiler is not intended for continuous operation below 50% output and should be operated with a suitably sized buffer tank. When the mains power is switched off, combustion may continue initially, and the lambda sensor operates at high temperature during operation. Living spaces and hallways are not permitted installation locations.
