The ATMOS GSE wood gasification boilers are the most efficient and therefore the most frequently used heating boilers from ATMOS in Germany.

The tried and tested boiler sizes DC18GSE, DC22GSE, DC25GSE, DC30GSE, DC40GSE and DC50GSE now include: the DC18GSE with ACD04, the DC22GSE with ACD04, the DC25GSE with ACD04 and the DC30GSE with ACD04The ATMOS GSE series now comprises 10 wood gasifiers.

The integrated ACD04 control system eliminates the need for thermostats, rotary knobs, and thermometers, as it performs their functions. All boiler parameters, two mixed heating circuits, external hot water preparation, and solar thermal system control can be managed via the intuitive user interface (touchscreen). Furthermore, the graphic display provides information on the boiler's operating status and the overall heating system status.

ATMOS GSE wood gasifiers are distinguished by their particularly high efficiency and excellent emission values, and are therefore eligible for government subsidies through the KfW (German Development Bank). Based on 85 years of experience in gasification technology, ATMOS is able to design wood gasification boilers that meet the KfW's efficiency and emission requirements without expensive electronics. The design of these wood gasifiers is a further development of the earlier GS series. In both series, the combustion chamber is already lined with ceramic. This protective ceramic, patented by ATMOS, has a V-shaped geometry, which allows for optimal fuel flow and thus guarantees complete combustion. The combustion chambers of the ATMOS GSE series also feature this ceramic lining. are completely protected by ceramic. This ensures a long service life for the ATMOS GSE wood gasifiers.

The higher efficiency of the GSE series compared to other series is due to its efficient flue gas duct. This duct is larger and more powerful, and its design differs significantly from that of other ATMOS wood gasifier series. It incorporates large tubular heat exchangers, which further reduce the exhaust gas temperature and thus increase efficiency.

The ATMOS GSE series wood gasifiers are additionally equipped with a separate flue gas thermostat. This continuously monitors the exhaust gas temperature. Should it exceed a maximum value of 200°C, the flue gas thermostat sends a signal and the combustion air is automatically reduced. This prevents the exhaust gas temperature from exceeding the limit and ensures the high efficiency of the ATMOS GSE boilers.
